Social distancing

Students must maintain a minimum of 6 feet from one another while commuting to school and while they are in the school building. This is what our classrooms will look like:

Masks and PPE

Students and staff will wear appropriate face coverings to school every day.

  • No mask, no entry. Any individual who does not have a mask will not be allowed into the building until they get a mask or one is provided for them.

  • Students should bring two cloth masks to school every day. Cloth masks can be washed and reused.

  • Students will be required to use hand sanitizer before and after meals, and wash their hands for at least 30 seconds

Health reporting and screening

To ensure that everyone is safe and healthy at Forte Prep, we will have a series of new reporting tools. If your child has any COVID-19 symptoms, they must stay home.

  • Learn more about how to participate in the Contact Tracing Program in New York. If you get a call from “NYS Contact Tracing” (518-387-9993), PLEASE answer the phone.
